Blake Henstock
I've been building things with computers since I was about ten — websites, Discord bots, AI chatbots, and lately game UI in Unreal Engine 5. I care more about whether something actually works than whether it looks impressive.
What I work with
Self-taught, mostly by building real things and fixing what broke. Most days land somewhere between AI tooling, web projects, and Unreal Engine 5.
Four things I've shipped
A web-based moderation system built from scratch for a Roblox game with 70,000–100,000 players online at once.
→ 02 3D Escape RoomA deep-sea escape room built in Unreal Engine 5, with an accessibility option that actually does something.
→ 03 DawnAn AI chatbot that helps people in the UK find drug and alcohol recovery support — warm and human, not clinical.
→ 04 MVS DuelsThe community website for Murderers vs Sheriffs Duels, built while volunteering as a Trial Moderator.
→Experience
Works directly with the game's QA testers and developers, reproduces community bug reports, and built the team's moderation system and community website. Started as a Trial Moderator.
A year of remote technical support: diagnosing problems, finding the quickest effective fix, and handling each issue from first contact to resolution.
Records the highest average transaction value in the store. Fast, accurate service and cash handling under pressure.
Stock rotation, deliveries and product reductions. His first face-to-face job.
Grade: Merit, Pass, Pass — equivalent to three A-Levels.
